Support
Write to contact@liyan.app. We answer in English and French, within two working days. Before that, here are the questions that come up most.
I had Qawam: what happens to my app?
With the update, Qawam becomes Liyan. Your account, your conversations and your subscription carry over: nothing is lost, and you find them in the husband's space. There is nothing to reinstall and nothing to buy again.
Cancel my subscription
Cancelling goes through the App Store or Google Play, never through us.
On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Liyan → Cancel subscription.
On Android: Play Store → your profile picture → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Liyan → Cancel subscription.
Inside the app, Settings → Manage subscription takes you straight there.
Access stays open until the end of the period you have already paid for. To avoid being charged at the end of the free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
I changed phone and my subscription is gone
Sign in with the same account, then open Settings → View plans → Restore purchases. The subscription belongs to your Apple or Google account, not to the device.
If nothing comes back, check that you are signed in to the App Store or the Play Store with the account the purchase was made with.
Delete my account and my data
Settings → Delete all my data. Your profile, conversations, messages and cycle data are permanently deleted.
Without the app, for example if you have uninstalled it: write to privacy@liyan.app from the email address of your account and ask for it to be deleted. We delete the account and its data in the same way, and confirm by email.
Two caveats: billing records, which we must keep for our accounting obligations, and database backups, in which copies remain until their retention period expires.
Deleting the account does not cancel the subscription: do that in the App Store or Google Play, or the charges continue.
I am not getting notifications
Check inside the app first: Settings → Quiet notifications must be on.
Then on the iPhone: Settings → Notifications → Liyan. iPhone only ever asks for this permission once, so if you declined it, it has to be turned back on here.
On Android: Settings → Apps → Liyan → Notifications.
The morning tip goes out at 7am and the evening one in the late afternoon, in your own time zone.
Link or unlink our accounts
Linking is optional. In Settings, one of you generates a code, valid for 7 days, and the other enters it. Unlinking, from Settings too, takes effect immediately for both of you.
Turn off the cycle estimate
In the husband's space: Settings → Cycle tracking. Turning it off takes effect immediately, and the advice stops referring to it.
The feature is optional, off by default, and turning it on requires confirming that your wife knows about it and agrees. If you believe data about you was entered without your agreement, write to privacy@liyan.app.
Anything else
contact@liyan.app for the app, your subscription or a suggestion.
